The B-complex group of vitamins are absolutely essential for
combating stress and are required for the brain, skin and nerves. The vitamin B group are considered to be co-enzymes and are needed together in order to work properly. Vitamin B vitamins are water soluble vitamins and in contrast to fat soluble vitamins need to be replenished every day, the group consists of the following: Most of the B vitamins are found in lentils, black strap molasses, brewers yeast, nutritional yeast, and whole grains. Drinking coffee and/or alcohol washes alot of the vitamin B group of vitamins out of your body so you will need more of the vitamin B group of vitamins than most people if you drink coffee or alcohol. Stress similarly results in your body using up a lot of vitamin B, and remember just modern living causes us more stress than we ought to be exposed to, so most people need more than the RDI of vitamin B complex, especially those of us in stressful jobs. |
