Vitamin B5 Pantothenic Acid

Whole grain cereals, legumes, lentils, chickpeas,
black beans,mushrooms, peanuts, soybeans, avocados,
sunflower seeds, almonds,bananas, raw oranges, broccoli,
baked potato and cooked collard greens.

What does Vitamin B5 do

Vitamin B5 is necessary for the production of adrenal
hormones (which are over stimulated by drinking coffee or being
exposed to stressful situations) and the nervous system.

Vitamin B5 also helps fight infection, helps create antibodies,
improves the body's ability to heal, reduces cholesterol,

A deficiency of this vitamin can cause paresthesia., vomiting,
stomach ache, fatigue and muscle cramps.

The recommended daily dose RDI for Vitamin B5 is 5-10
m
g, however there are no observed adverse effects from taking
1000 mg.

Overdosing on this vitamin can result in diarrhea and possibly
nausea and heartburn.
