Very large amounts can cause nerve damage.

This is what Dr Larson PhD ,who for 30 years, has been
treating addiction, anxiety and depression with natural
supplements has to say about vitamin B6:

Lack of vitamin B6 says Dr Larson, causes extreme
confusion, nervousness, anxiety and melancholia.

Extreme deficiencies in this vitamin can result in convulsions
she says. Vitamin B 6 is an emotional stabilizer and is often
removed by alcohol and drugs.

Maintaining a stable immune system depends upon this
vitamin.

Dr Larson notes that larger doses are required, and if you
don't take enough, nothing happens.
