India. Origins. Only four trips in my life - baby, summer 1986, December 1995, June 1996. So much left to explore, but so much time needed to explore. Pictures are from the final two trips only.
The one site most people think of in India is the Taj Mahal. So here it is. The 'king' who had it built had originally planned to build another one in black marble across the water. One for him and one for his wife. Unfortunately, he died before he could start it.
This is a temple and museum in Ghandinagar, capital of Gujarat (my home state). It is named Akshardam.
