Hawaii, but mostly Maui, ranks as second in my list of top scenic vacations, after New Zealand. Two trips - Oahu (Waikiki) in March 1993 for five days as Spring Break with NYU, and Maui/Kua'ai in June 1998 for 10 days with parents as birthday present for my mom.
